Cabinet design and construction should be an artful process that involves the input of the client as well as the as the builder. The woodwork of a room should be designed and built in a manner that is in keeping with the architectural preferences of the client. Our company strives to create a "feeling" and an "attitude" about the pieces that we build. All of our work is handmade in our shop in Fallbrook of only the very best materials. We are not a company that builds for tract homes that demand "cookie cutter" products built solely for the purpose of filling a room.
We are known for our ability to be innovative and to come up with designs that create a lasting impression. Smith's Authentic Woodwork has been in business in the San Diego area for twenty-three years so we have a substantial customer following. In fact, we have never advertised our services. All our business is through the referrals of clients and friends who know what beautiful cabinets/woodwork we can produce. We can build something for you that can be used and admired for generations.

We operate a woodworking shop that can build and design virtually any architectural element to enhance any room from simple wainscoting to intricate designs and period pieces. We enjoy what we do and our clients generally become our good friends.
